Fire rages leather factory at Kolkata's Tiljala road

A massive fire broke out at a leather factory located at Tiljala Road in Kolkata late on Saturday night, leaving the locals in shock and panic. The incident took place in Punjabi Mohalla of Tiljala Road, and within no time, the entire factory was engulfed in flames, causing black smoke to billow out of the factory.

The locals, who first noticed the fire, immediately tried to extinguish it on their own. However, the fire was too intense for them to handle, and they soon realized that they needed outside help. The fire department was immediately notified, and three fire tenders were dispatched to the scene.

It took the fire department one and a half hours to bring the raging inferno under control. The fire tenders worked tirelessly to douse the flames, using water and other firefighting equipment to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident, but there is a possibility that the fire may have caused extensive damage to the factory.

At this stage, the cause of the fire is not yet known. An investigation is underway, and the authorities are trying to determine what caused the blaze. It is essential to ascertain the cause of the fire to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
